Ontekusuto is a collection of Wordpress plugins that enable you to take control of your online presence and social networking. If you have placed information in places such as Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn or any other online/social service then essentially that information is no longer yours. You’ve given it away for these companies to use for their intents and purposes. This may not seem important to you now, but time may change that.
Wordpress is an open-source software. It is developed by a dynamic community of developers and is not owned by any company. It is free for you to use in any way you want and will remain that way forever. It is developed under a unique software license called GPL which ensures your freedom and prevents anyone from ever telling you what you can or can’t do with it or from doing something with it.
To use Wordpress you need a hosting service – which is essentially an online storage space. There are many services where you can rent such spaces online for a very small monthly fee. As long as you can afford that monthly fee you can have your own online space – completely yours, in your hands, you decide what to do with it and with whom you wish to share it.
Like Wordpress, Ontekusuto is open-source – free for you to use. It adds to Wordpress all kinds of features & capabilities that will help you manage your information and connect & share with others.
