Ontekusuto is based on core Wordpress capabilities (including BackPress, Taxonomy & PostTypes) and on it’s developer community. The Ontekusuto project sets out to:
Simplify (primarily by minimizing) the admin user experience for non-technical and non-blogger users (okWaterDown).
Extend core capabilities to support more types of data (okThings) and social connection & sharing (okConnect).
Provide bundled solutions/installation packs that can ease the initial setup (okConfiguration), personalize (okRainbow) & migration (okMovers) into Wordpress.
Many of the actual capabilities (data objects which will interface with okThings) will be provided by plugins from the Wordpress repository – photo galleries, video galleries, events, etc. It would be great to approach some of the popular plugin authors and integrate their plugins of okWaterDown’ed versions into the solution.
